Types of Meditation

4. Transcendental Meditation: This method involves silently repeating a specific mantra to reach a state of deep relaxation and self-awareness without effort. Developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, it is known for being a simple yet effective method.

5. Movement Meditation: This type of meditation includes practices like yoga, tai chi, or mindful walking. The focus is on the movement of the body in sync with awareness of the present moment.

6. Spiritual Meditation: In spiritual meditation, the practitioner seeks a connection with a higher power, God, or their inner spirituality. This type of meditation is often found in religious traditions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and Christianity.
